Stonecast is hand decorated with a fine speckle and rustic edge in a rich golden brown. The nature of the manufacturing process means that every piece will be slightly different, adding to the overall charm of the product. The "pin marks" on the reverse of the plate are where flatware items are supported during the glazing firing process on three small, triangular cross section refractory pins. The pin marks are not a fault and have no negative impact on the product’s performance. The major benefit is that the bottom of the plate is fully glazed and won’t scratch the table. This is the traditional method of making this type of plate. Available with no minimum order quantities. Dishwasher & microwave safe.
